You don’t need someone else’s validation for how you feel.
.
I have been that person. The one that panicked by seeing disappointment in other people’s eyes after telling them how I felt and immediately trying to take my words back.
.
I have a client who tends to do the same: after our most intense Voicefulness sessions, in which he explores his emotional world using his own voice, he’s often indirectly asking me if it’s ok that he feels how he feels.
.
Today I told him that his word is as valid and important as everyone else’s. That as his coach I may give him direction, but no destination; that’s on him and him only.
.
Please know that no matter where you are in your life, no matter who you are or what is going on, it’s ok to feel how you’re feeling.
From the darkest to the brightest places of our being: we need the whole palette.
.
And your feelings are legitimate. ALWAYS. They’re also messengers; please listen to what they have to say and if you’re lost, seek for help. It’s our human nature, we all need help and we all fall. Without exception.
.
There are so many amazing people who can support you when you’re lost. Because we all get lost to a certain degree and in several moments of our life.
.
I am here to remind you that YOU are here too. ♥️
